Doha, 12 February 2018. Aspire Academy welcomed a visiting delegation from Hungarian Football Federation on Monday morning. The delegation from Hungary was led by the Federation Vice President, Mr Sandor Berzi and included the General Secretary, Mr Marton Vagi.
The Hungarians had a meeting with Aspire Academy Director General Ivan Bravo where they discussed how they can explore areas of mutual interest and cooperation in youth football development. Hungarian Football Federation Vice President Mr Sandor Berzi said at the end of his tour of the Academy, “Aspire Academy is phenomenal and one can see that great thought, purposeful planning with long term goals were behind the establishment of this place. It’s a fantastic academy and possesses exactly what the youth require for the development of their sporting and academic careers. The facilities for learning and playing are simply world class and this is something that we in Hungary ought to consider too, the philosophy and intentions behind Aspire Academy. Qatar has steadily built infrastructure and judging from their organizing of major events l am confident the FIFA World Cup to be held here in 2022 will be a huge success. It’s good to take World Cup outside of Europe and South America and Qatar is an excellent place to host the finals.”
