A delegation of senior Sri Lankan sports officials led by His Excellency Alabada Gamage Sunil Kumara, Minister of Sports, visited Aspire Academy on 29 October 2026.
The sports leaders met with Aspire Academy’s Director General, Ivan Bravo, and also enjoyed a tour of Aspire Academy’s world-class complex.
The group also included Jaswar Umar Lebbe, President of the Football Federation of Sri Lanka, and Achchuthan Sivasubramaniam, the country’s Director General of Sports.
Aspire Academy’s Director of Football Performance and Science, Professor Valter Di Salvo, guided the visitors around the facilities.
The representatives also held meetings with members of the Football Performance and Science department and the Football Department to discuss ideas for collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
The latest visit highlights Aspire Academy’s leading role in football development worldwide, especially in Asia, as well as its commitment to sharing its expertise.
