Aspire Academy Director of Education and Student Affairs, Mr Badr Al-Hay opened the day’s proceedings saying, “We are expecting a lot of enthusiasm of our new joiners that is inspired by previous generations of student-athletes including the ones winning the 2019 AFC Asian Cup. Most of them were also in the team that won the U-19 AFC Championship in 2014 and that shows that it’s crucial to work hard from an early age on and here they have the opportunity to build the foundation for their careers as athletes. Therefore, it’s also important to adapt quickly to the schedule at Aspire that is very different to the ones in other schools, because the days are long, and they have to balance school and training properly.”

To you new students that join us this year I extend a warm welcome on what l hope are the first steps a fulfilling academic and sporting journey for you.
