Aspire Academy showcased the breadth of career opportunities in sport and education during the seventh edition of Career Village, held at KidZania Doha in Aspire Park from 28 to 30 September 2026.
The event gave students an interactive introduction to future study and career pathways, with Aspire Academy represented by staff from the Sports and Education departments. The coaches and teachers engaged visitors through activities centred on leadership, career discovery, coaching, artificial intelligence, future skills and personal development.
Sports coaches used specialist technology to measure participants’ speed, height, power and strength. The demonstrations gave visitors insight into the scientific and technical expertise that supports high-performance sport, including athlete testing, performance monitoring, coaching and physical development.
Aspire Academy teachers and student-athletes also spoke with young visitors about identifying their strengths, setting goals and selecting pathways suited to their interests. By sharing their knowledge and experiences, they helped students better understand the commitment, skills and educational preparation required to pursue their ambitions.
The Academy’s participation reflected its commitment to developing young people both academically and personally, while encouraging them to explore opportunities across education, sport and related specialist fields.
Qatar Career Development Centre, founded by Qatar Foundation, organised the event in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, the Ministry of Labour, and the Civil Service and Government Development Bureau.
