MSSD YOUNG ATHLETES BENEFIT FROM NEW PARTNERSHIP

29 Nov 2015

Doha, 29 November 2015. Aspire Academy’s ‘Multi-Sport Skill Development’ (MSSD) program is reaping the benefits of the Academy’s partnership with Qatar Athletics Federation, which has helped to expand the team of expert coaches who deliver our national after-school coaching program for children aged 8-12. This partnership aims to support young talented athletes on their pathway to the senior Athletics national team.

Boys showing the most potential are invited to join an ‘Advanced’ MSSD coaching program based at Aspire Academy. Here, they have the opportunity to train up to 5 days per week in world class facilities with boys of similar abilities. The program features athletic activities as well as a full range of sports including swimming, gymnastics and team games. This helps the boys develop a full range of skills within an active, fun environment.

Trevor Smith, Head of Aspire MSSD said “we are delighted to be working with the Qatar Athletics Federation. Our diverse new coaching team has added knowledge and experience to the program, which is helping more talented young athletes in Qatar to realize their potential”.
