IRAN FOOTBALL FEDERATION PRESIDENT VISITS ASPIRE ACADEMY

Doha, 14 December 2017.  The president of Football Federation Islamic Republic of Iran, Mr Mehdi Taj led a delegation that included his predecessor Mr Ali Kafashian on a visit to Aspire Academy on Thursday 14 December afternoon. Mr Taj was welcomed to Aspire by Director General, Mr Ivan Bravo who went on to lead the visitors on a guided tour around the Aspire Academy.

Speaking after the tour, Mr Mehdi Taj, said, “I have been very impressed by Aspire Academy and what is going on at this marvelous sports development institution. The possibilities that Aspire offers the current and future generation of Qatari athletes is excellent. These wonderful facilities combined with the right vision for education and nurturing of sport talent in the country is a good heritage for Qatar. This is a world class academy offering the best in sport there is in the world and Qatar should indeed be proud of Aspire Academy,” said Mr Mehdi Taj, the president of Football Federation Islamic Republic of Iran.

The delegation spoke highly of the Academy and about how the staff are focused on developing Qatar’s future sports and football stars.
