Doha, 12 December 2017. Aspire Academy held Parents’ Meeting for all grades on Tuesday 12th December 2017. Parents were welcomed by teaching and coaching staff amongst others as they went round designated class rooms discussing their sons’ work.

Parents engaged with faculty members and department representatives in lively face to face discussions. A number of parents spoke of their appreciation for parents’ meetings and the value of the exercise in the education programs at the Academy.

One parent speaking at the end of the evening, Mr. Faisal Dosari said: “As a parent l always look forward to these crucial meetings when l get to be appraised on my son’s progress and l am then able to assist the teachers by making sure l encourage my son accordingly. The education of a child works best when both parties, the school staff and parents are involved and we appreciate that Aspire arranges for these parents meetings”

Another parent, Mr Messer Nasser whose son is coming to the end of his studies at Aspire spoke of the role the Academy has played his son’s life, “My son could not have a better start to his gymnastic career and education path than what he has got from Aspire Academy. Parents meeting evenings like tonight have tremendous significance and importance in the life of a student at Aspire. From these meetings you are able to know how the experts, teachers and coaches see your son’s contribution and areas that need help. My family has found Aspire Academy a great help in the upbringing and education of our son and l sincerely recommend it to every parent whose son maybe fortunate to be enrolled at this prestigious Academy.”

“The Academy uses these interactive meetings with parents to not only inform them of the students’ work but as a means to engage with parents on some new developments the Academy is implementing in our curriculum. Parents are important stakeholders in the work we do here at Aspire Academy and we have included them in our Advisory Council where their representative have a seat , said Mr Ali Fawaz Al Dwairi, Aspire Academy Master Teacher.
