GREEK FOOTBALL FEDERATION PRESIDENT APPLAUDS QATARI VISION FOR SPORT

Doha, 14 December 2017.   Aspire Academy welcomed the Hellenic Football Federation, Mr Evangelos Grammenos along with Federation official, Ms Emilia Prekate on Thursday 14th December. The Greek football boss was welcomed by Aspire Director of Football Performance and Science, Professor Valter Di Salvo who then led him on a guided tour. Mr Grammenos had the opportunity to find out about the Academy and its philosophy and how it all works in tandem with the Qatari national sports federations and associations.

“It is quite evident that this country has vision and well thought-out plans about sport development and l firmly believe it will pay dividends and yield the set out goals in years to come. Aspire Academy is really impressive and has embarked on a sound sport development philosophy which is backed up by world class facilities to match the set goals.  Qatar football and sport in general has a bright future and what you have here at Aspire will serve a major role towards this.”

After his tour of Aspire, Mr Grammenos proceeded to visit Aspetar the world's leading specialised orthopaedic and sports medicine hospital.
