Doha, 6 February 2016. Duringa joint event of 'Al Kass International Cup' and ICSSon Friday morning at the 'La Cigale Hotel' that featured former Dutch international Edgar Davids, coaching legend Bora Milutinovic and ICSS Head of Anti-Corruption & International Development Partnerships, Werner Schuller, the players of the 'Al Kass International Cup' were warned the about the dangers of social media, and had the chance to ask questions. According to the International Centre for Sport Security (ICSS), many criminals and match-fixers are now utilising sites like Twitter and Instagram in order to approach and groom young footballers. “Criminals are very clever about the way they infiltrate and corrupt players and it is important that young athletes are educated about the dangers of social media and the amount of personal information they make public," stated Schuller. Asked about his beginnings in football, Davids remembered the huge amount of time he spent playing street soccer before joining the youth academy of Ajax Amsterdam at the age of 12. He also told the young players in the audience about the importance of being focused throughout ones career. "You have to look at yourself everyday, give everything you can in order to succeed. Otherwise you might regret it one day." Milutinovic fully agreed with the former player of Juventus: "Attitude is everything."
