Al Kuwari won a game in his 11-7, 11-5, 6-11 and 11-5 defeat against Spain’s Hugo Urquizar.
The championship had U-11, U-13, U-15, U-17 and U-19 age categories.
“This is a positive result. I’m looking forward to cash in on this success.”
Karlsson, 52, is a former 1991 World Champion in men's doubles and 2000 European Champion in men’s singles.
The Swede appreciated the small steps the Qatari table tennis players have made in a tournament like WTT.
“Aspire Academy provides the best coaching experts to develop paddlers. Tournaments like WTT and regional championships have helped assess the progress of our players,” added Karlsson.
