London (Can), 20 September 2015. Some of the world’s best squash players recently met up in London, Canada to play at the PSA Challenger named “Nash Cup” from September 14 to 19. One of them was Aspire Academy graduate Abdulla Al-Tamimi.
The 20-year-old Qatari showed a number of strong performances throughout the competition and stormed into the final where he was defeated by Declan James after three hard-fought sets. For the 22-year-old English it was already the third tournament win in a row: before triumphing at the “Nash Cup” in London, he won the “Champion Fiberglass Open” (USA) and the “Christchurch International Open” (New Zealand).
Abdulla Al-Tamimi and Canada seem to be a fruitful combination: London was already his second final after he finished second at the “Guilfoyle Financial PSA Classic 2015” earlier this year.
