AHMED AL DAYANI CLAIMS BRONZE IN BAKU

Doha, 17 May 2017.  Aspire Academy graduate as Ahmed Al Dayani won bronze in pommel horse to add to take Qatar’s current medal haul to six medals at the on-going Islamic Solidarity Games taking place in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Qatar continued their impressive run at the shooting events of the Islamic Solidarity Games  with Ahmad Zayed Al Shammari giving Qatar the first silver of the event in 25m Standard Pistol Men’s while Kholoud Hassan Al Khalaf and Mohammed Khejaim combined to win the bronze medal in the Mixed Trap.
These wins took Qatar’s medals tally to six, which includes one gold, a silver and four bronze as of Tuesday 16 May 2017. Two other Aspire Academy linked athletes, current student Moaaz Mohamed Ibrahim and graduate Asharaf Al- Seify are also competing at the games and stand a good chance of adding to that medal tally for Qatar.
