On Sunday, January 24, 2021, Aspire Academy welcomed HE Marjan Kamstra, the new ambassador of Kingdom of The Netherlands to Qatar, giving her a tour of its world-class facilities.
During her visit, the Dutch Ambassador, who was accompanied by Ms. Naomi Kervel, Policy officer Sport and Economic Diplomacy, received a briefing from Mr. Ali Salem Afifa, Deputy Director General of Aspire Academy, on the work and services offered by Aspire Academy, one of the three members of AZF, along with Aspire Logistics, and Aspetar, the orthopaedic and sports medicine hospital.
Mr. Ali Salem led the tour of the academy’s different facilities explaining the whole process put forward by Aspire Academy in its journey to develop champions in sports and life, through latest training methods and education.
HH Mrs. The Ambassador praised the academy at the end of her visit saying “What I saw today at Aspire Academy should be a matter of great pride for Qatar. I have been particularly impressed by the long-term investment the country is making in sports through developing young athletes in different sports.”
