FRENCH JUDO PRESIDENT VISITS ASPIRE ACADEMY

The President of the French Federation of Judo, Jujitsu, Kendo and Associated Disciplines, Stéphane Nomis visited world-renowned Aspire Academy on Thursday 14th January 2021. The former judoka was recently elected to the FFJDA leadership in November 2020 and was in Qatar for the International Judo Federation, Doha Masters which ran from 11-13 January 2021. He was accompanied by Mr. Franck Moroy, political affairs councilor at the French Embassy in Doha.

Stéphane Nomis on his first official visit abroad since election paid tribute to Aspire Academy and its work in youth sport development. “I am delighted to visit and see Aspire Academy an institution well known throughout the sporting world for elite youth sport development. The facilities are world class and the programs run here among the best in the world, there is so much to learn from the immense work carried out here at Aspire and it has been a joy to visit this place, “said Stéphane Nomis.
