Hong Kong, 13 March 2019. The Qatari delegation heading to the 2019 Asian Youth Athletics Championships included a number of Aspire Academy student-athletes and staff. Accompanied by Aspire’s Athletics Head Coach Tom Crick, Sprints Coach Lee Christopher and Throws Coach Ivica Jakeljic, nine Aspire Academy athletes took the trip to represent Qatar in the third edition of the biennial, continental U-18 athletics competition for Asian athletes from March 15 to 17 in Hong Kong.

100mH, Heats/Final: Saeed Othman Alabsi (grade 8)
100m, Heats: Mohammad Badr Al-Ali (grade 10)
Hammer Throw: Abdullah Tarek Sharaf (grade 11)

Long Jump, Final: Aman Majed Bashir (grade 10) and Saleh Salem Bashraheel (grade 12)
200m, Heats: Khaled Mahamat Zakaria (grade 10) and Mohammad Badr Al-Ali (grade 10)
High Jump, Final: Mohammad Nouh Koumare (grade 10)
2000m SC, Final: Mohamad Assaad Kemel (grade 11)
100m, Semi-Final/Final: Mohammad Badr Al-Ali (grade 10)
