ASPIRE EXCELS AT JUNIOR & CADET ALGERIA OPEN

Algeria, 6 April 2016. Aspire Academy continues to scale new heights in sporting achievement with a strong showing in Table Tennis the latest of successes. Algeria played host to the Junior and Cadet Circuit Open tournament from April 1-5, where 86 players in total were competing.

Aspire entered Nawaf Al Malki and Abdulaziz Abdul Hameed Mohd in the U-15 Cadet group and the pair played well enough to reach medal stage of the completion in both team and doubles segments. The duo finished third in both segments, an outstanding achievement indeed.

Academy 9th grader Abdulaziz went on to add a third bronze medal in the singles competition thereby completing a remarkable set of results by the Aspire Academy team. This was Abdulaziz’s first ever medal in a singles competition at a World Junior and Cadet tournament , a well-deserved and outstanding honour to him and Aspire Academy.

Results at ‘Junior & Cadet Algeria Open’: 
- Bronze medal (3rd place) in team competition (Nawaf Al Malki/Abdulaziz Abdul Hameed Mohd)
- Bronze medal (3rd place) in doubles competition (Nawaf Al Malki/Abdulaziz Abdul Hameed Mohd)
- Bronze medal (3rd place) in single competition (Abdulaziz Abdul Hameed Mohd)
