Aspire Academy student Athletes resume online classes after winter break

16 Jan 2022

Doha, Qatar: Sunday 16 January 2022

Aspire Academy student athletes resumed their school and training activities early last week following a short winter break in the 2021-2022 academic year.

But due to the high number of Covid19 Omicron variant cases in the country, classes from Grade 7-12 are being held online in compliance and alignment with the decisions of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and Ministry of Public Health (MOPH).

“We were excited to welcome all our student athletes after nearly two years of online learning process at the beginning of this academic year. But due to a sharp rise in Covid cases in the country, we shifted back to an online learning system for all grades according to the rules and guidelines of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and MOPH,” said Aspire Academy School principal Jassem Al-Jaber.

Aspire Academy student athletes benefited from their first semester break after completing their first term examinations in the first week of December. Most of them attended their respective winter training camps.
