Abdulla Al-Tamimi Qatar’s Best Player Wins Qatar Closed Squash Championship 2012

?Abdulla Al-Tamimi confirmed his status as Qatar’s best player by beating Abdulrahman Al-Malki 3/1 in the final of Qatar Closed Squash Championship 2012 last weekend. Graduate Ahmad Al-Tamimi convincingly won third place against Saoud Al-Sulaiti. Most encouraging in the U13 was Ahmad Al-Homaidi’s second place result. He played a round robin in which he won 5 of his 6 matches ultimately losing 3/1 to the winner Hamad Al-Amri. Faisal Masoud Al-Marri reached the quarterfinals and lost in five to Saoud Al-Sulaiti while Abdulwahab Al-Ishaq lost 3/1 to Abdulla Al-Tamimi in the round of 16. Aspire student Abdullah Al-Mass also lost in the quarter finals to Abdulla Al-Tamimi.
