London, 6 October 2015. More than 400 leading figures from the world of sport attend the “Leaders Under 40 Awards” in London and representing Aspire Academy, Al Sadd player and Former Barcelona FC legend Xavi Hernández presented Carlo Ancelotti with the "2015 Inspiring Leader" award during the inaugural “Leaders Under 40 Awards” gala on October 6.
Ancelotti was one of a number of sports leaders whose achievements were recognised at the glittering event, which was held at London’s Natural History Museum. The ceremony brought together more than 400 leading global sports executives with leading sports men and women including Dutch footballing hero Clarence Seedorf and Spanish star Gaizka Mendieta, who also presented awards to winners.
During the event, awards were presented in recognition of the achievements of a number of sports executives across a range of categories. These included marketing and communication, sales and commercial, technology, brand and sponsorship and leadership. A judging panel of 15 sports leaders selected the winners of each category.

Winner: Janet Duch, SVP – Marketing, the Madison Square Garden Company

Winner: Brad Sims, Senior Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer, Cleveland Cavaliers
Technology
Winner: Tom Griffiths, Chief Product Officer and Co-Founder, Fan Duel
The “Leaders Under 40 Awards” was launched last year. The result of a close partnership between Aspire Academy and LEADERS, the global experts in events for the professional world of sport, the awards recognise the accomplishments of distinguished leaders under 40 years old across a range of different sports businesses.
