Doha, 7 May 2017. Well known Emirati football commentator Ali Saeed Alkaabi visited Aspire Academy on Sunday 7 May morning. The guided tour took Ali Saeed around the Aspire Dome and the beIN SPORTS commentator famous for his strong and inspiring voice during such competitions like UEFA Champions league, Serie A, La Liga, and FIFA World Cup was frequently seen mouth-agape as he was shown round.
Speaking after the tour, Ali Saeed Alkaabi, said, “I was in Qatar when they started building Aspire Academy in 2005 and I cannot believe what has happened in the meantime. The possibilities that Aspire offers the new generation of Qatar’s athletes are one of a kind. It’s not only about having these wonderful facilities, but also about having the right vision and I am proud that an Arabic country has made this dream come true. I have been to many places with my work and worked on FIFA World Cup venues but l have never seen anything that rivals or comes close what is here at Aspire Academy,” said the famous Emirati commentator.
