Doha, 12 November 2015. A high-profile official delegation from the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) visited Aspire Academy on Thursday afternoon. Professor Valter Di Salvo, Director of Performance and Science at the Academy, welcomed the delegation. During a comprehensive tour of the Academy’s facilities, the delegation was briefed about the educational and training programmes the Academy provides to its students, who form Qatar’s future generation of elite athletes.
Furthermore, Academy officials presented an overview of the Academy’s history and the significant developments it has achieved in the fields of sports education and science, and both sides discussed potential future collaboration between them.
The delegation included Mr. Ali Durust, Vice President and Executive Board Member, Mr. Kadir Kardas, Secretary General, Fatih Terim, Head Coach of the national team, in addition to a number of TFF officials.
Worth noting that the TFF delegation is visiting Doha on the occasion of the friendly match between Qatar and Turkey, taking place on Friday the 13th of November.
