Sudden death despair for Aspire Qatar

22 Jan 2014

Doha January 22, 2014. Aspire Qatar suffered an agonising defeat on penalties to Kashiwa Reysol on Wednesday evening, with the Japanese side claiming seventh place in the Al Kass International Cup. Yet, for much of the match, Aspire appeared to be cruising to victory.   Kashiwa went behind on 26 minutes after some poor defending saw Riku Tanaki dispossessed by Eisa Ghaderi. Whipping a ball into the box, Ghaderi found Khalid Muneer Mazeed who stabbed home from close range.
