Doha, 18 April 2017. Aspire Academy’s football teams returned from competing in various Easter tournaments with an array of impressive results across different age groups.
In what has been some of the best performances of recent participation abroad, the U-17 side clinched the Villarreal Yellow Cup while the U-16 team finished 1st in the consolation segment of the MIC Cup in Spain. In Portugal, Aspire Academy’s U-10 side finished runners up in Phase B of the Algarve Youth Cup, while the U11 finished 4th and the U12 made it to the quarterfinals.
The accolades for Aspire poured in with Aspire Academy U-11 goalkeeper, Omar Aboelwafa named the best keeper of the tournament and Aspire U-10 team added the Fair Play Award to crown an excellent outing in in Europe.
