Doha, 20 January 2016. Qatar will take on DPR Korea in the quarter-finals of the AFC U-23 Championship, which will take place at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium on Friday 22 January at 7.30pm.

Japan successfully maintained its 100% record, securing a 2-1 victory against Saudi Arabia, while the draw between DPR Korea and Thailand saw Yun Jong-su’s side move up to second place, ahead of Saudi Arabia and Thailand, both of whom ended their group stage campaigns with two points.
