26 Oct 2014

?Doha, 26 October 2014. The outstanding success of Qatar’s U-19 national team was a big moment for Aspire Academy. All the players of the team that succeeded at the AFC U-19 Championship in Myanmar were either graduates or student athletes of the Academy. Therefore Ivan Bravo, Director General, thanked all members of the Academy for following the Academy’s mission “to guide, to push, to help young individuals become well-grounded adults who can compete at the highest level on the sporting ground and represent the country as people of character, drive, generosity, fairness and respect.” “Clearly, the coaching staff, supporting members of this national team and the broader group of people involved in football are to be commended for an outstanding job?. Their dedication has been tremendous,” he specifically stressed the good work of the Academy’s Football Department. “As an Academy, our contribution and satisfaction must be accompanied with gratitude towards the country's leaders and the Qatar Football Association and its President, HE Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, who trusted us to lead the national team program over the past two years. The QFA has supported our decisions, plans and needs with conviction.  Our gratitude must be extended also to the QSL clubs that accepted our program and preparation requirements for the benefit of the players and the further goal of development towards 2022,” said Ivan Bravo.
