High-profile tournament launches Aspire Academy’s football season

The new football season is about to start for Aspire Academy for Sports Excellence when the outstanding Qatari institution officially welcomes four high-profile under17 teams for an international tournament on Monday, August 11.   This time the Qatar youth national team (age group 1997) will take on the youth national teams of Oman and Kuwait as well as Real Madrid Juvenil B at Aspire Academy. The teams will be officially welcomed on Monday, August 11 and the six games will take place on August 12, 14 and 17. The kick-off time for every game is 8pm and each game will be played 2x40 minutes.   “We are always delighted to see our boys representing Qatar und this tournament is another chance for them to gain international experience and to compete against strong sides and get to know different styles of play. I am sure that these games will be another useful learning experience for them,” Roberto Olabe, Football Director of Aspire Academy, comments on the upcoming event.   Tournament Schedule: Tuesday, August 12 Qatar vs. Oman (Kick-off: 8pm, 2x40 minutes) Real Madrid vs. Kuwait (Kick-off: 8pm, 2x40 minutes)   Thursday, August 14 Qatar vs. Kuwait (Kick-off: 8pm, 2x40 minutes) Real Madrid vs. Oman (Kick-off: 8pm, 2x40 minutes)   Sunday, August 17 Oman vs. Kuwait (Kick-off: 8pm, 2x40 minutes) Qatar vs. Real Madrid (Kick-off: 8pm, 2x40 minutes)
