Doha, 15 November 2016. On the occasion and in appreciation of the successful 7th edition of ASPIRE4SPORT Congress & Exhibition 2016 and the 3rd “Aspire Academy Global Summit”, that took place in Amsterdam on October 3 and 4, a sports networking reception was held on Monday evening at the residence of the Dutch ambassador.
A huge number of people that were involved in both events followed the invitation of the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands H.E. Dr. Bahia Tahzib-Lie, as well as sports professionals and business men from the Netherlands that currently live and work in Qatar.
Mrs. Tahzib-Lie reflected on the success of the events in Amsterdam and expressed her positive attitude towards Aspire’s philosophy to develop future world class athletes through their programs and their involvement in projects such as “Kun Riyadi”, Qatar’s Athlete Development Pathway Project that also involved profound research about the development of young athletes in the Netherlands.
On behalf of Aspire, Tariq Al Naama, Vice President of Aspire Zone Foundation, thanked the ambassador for the invitation and her support to make the recent events in Amsterdam a big success and they exchanged gifts to show their mutual appreciation.
