ASPIRE STUDENTS AND STAFF CELEBRATE

Doha, Qatar; 17th December 2012:- In advance of this Tuesday’s major celebrations for Qatar’s National Day, the staff and students of ASPIRE Academy also marked the occasion with some traditional celebrations of their own. Team leaders at the Academy organised sword dancing (ardha), Arabic coffee, Qatari traditional meals and a large cake decorated in the colours of the Qatari flag by way of acknowledgement to this precious national occasion. In addition, both students and staff placed messages pledging their loyalty and thanks to Qatar and the Emir HH Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, and the Heir Apparent HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, during different speeches uttered during the celebrations.  In acknowledgement of ASPIRE’s celebrations, Mr Ivan Bravo, Director General, thanked all those in attendance and gave recognition to the significance of Qatar’s National Day.
