ASPIRE FOOTBALL DREAMS PLAYER UZOHO, MAKES LA LIGA DEBUT

Doha, 15 October 2017. Francis Uzoho is the latest name on the steadily growing list of Aspire Football Dream graduates to play football in the top tier European leagues. The Nigeria born goalkeeper made his debut in The Spanish La Liga guarding goal for Deportivo La Coruna against Eibar on Sunday 15th October 2017.

Born on 28th October 1998, Uzoho cut his teeth at Aspire Football Dreams Academy in Senegal and moved to Spain in July 2017 to play for Deportivo La Coruna reserve side. He impressed enough to be moved up to the senior team where he  kept a clean sheet on his debut in a match which ended in a goalless draw.

The Aspire Football Dreams (AFD) graduate was part of the Nigeria U-17 national side that won 2013 U-17 FIFA World Cup played in UAE. He also for Aspire Football Dreams team at the Al Kass International Cup tournament in 2013.
