ASPIRE ACADEMY PLAYS HOST TO VISITING DELEGATION FROM COTE D’IVORE

Doha, 24 April 2018.  Aspire Academy welcomed a visiting delegation from the government of Cote D’Ivoire on Tuesday afternoon. The delegation was led by the Minister for the Promotion of Youth, Youth Employment, and Civic Service, Honourable Sidi T. Toure and Ambassador Toure Vazoumana. The visitors were met and welcomed by Aspire Academy Director of Corporate Services, Mr Ali Sultan Fakhroo who accompanied the delegation on a tour of the premises.

The delegation had a meeting with Aspire Academy Director General Ivan Bravo where they discussed how they can explore areas of mutual interest and cooperation in youth sport development.

Speaking after his tour, Minister Sidi Toure said “Well this Aspire Academy is a unique academy. What I saw today are some next generation infrastructure that provide extraordinary opportunities to all young talents of different age groups. I think this is an aspiration for the youth people here in Qatar to reach the highest development level in different sports. I congratulate the Qataris for this big project. I had a lot of good images that I caught during this visit that will help us try to think about something like this back in Cote d’Ivoire.”
