Aspire Academy player triumphs in Stockholm

?Stockholm, 3 November 2014. The student-athletes of Aspire Academy showed strong performances at the recent “Angby International Table Tennis Tournament” in Stockholm (Sweden) where 289 players from 17 countries competed in 7 age groups. Mohammed Abdulhussein won the “Scandinavian Organics Cup” (Boys U-15) which consisted of 46 players. After five wins, he played the Swede Richard Gotherstrom in an exciting final that we won 3-1 (6-11, 11-7, 14-12, 12-10). Mohammed also finished the cadet boys team competition without a loss (score 7-0) in which he reached the quarter-finals together with M. Al-Haddad. In the higher U-17 category Mohammed also reached the quarter-finals.   Our younger students Abdulaziz Al-Abdulla and Abdulaziz Hameed Mohd were also quite successful and reached the quarter-finals of the Mini Cadet Boys Team (U-13) category.   For more information on the tournament please visitwww.angby.com
