Aspire Academy has been named by “Great Place to Work”, a global authority on workplace culture, as number five on its “Best Workplaces in Qatar” list in the large companies category.
This award is based on valuable feedback from our staff, who completed the survey and shared their experiences working at Aspire Academy.
Those results saw the Academy ranked only behind four multinational companies, with large presences outside of Qatar.
The 2025-26 ranking reflects the strides Aspire Academy has taken to ensure that it is a place for employees to thrive and be proud of since our first certification in 2023-24 from “Great Place to Work”, when we were among the top-20 “Best Workplaces in Qatar.”
Ali Salem Afifa, Aspire Academy’s Deputy Director General, paid tribute to the staff for their work that paved the way for this recognition.
“At Aspire Academy, we nurture a supportive, multicultural workplace, one which helps shape future generations of high-level athletes for Qatar,” he explained.
“Being recognised among the top workplaces in Qatar in partnership with Great Place to Work reaffirms something we truly believe in, and that the environment we’ve built, grounded in trust, excellence, and a strong sense of belonging, is making a real difference.”
“A strong workplace culture is not just part of who we are, it’s what enables us to deliver on our mission every single day, and to our incredible staff, this recognition is for you, as you are the ones who have brought to life the standards we’ve always aspired to live up to.”
“Great Place to Work” identifies the “Best Workplaces in Qatar” by analysing companies’ workplace programmes and surveying employees across the region about the key factors that create great workplaces for all.
The analysis is based on the largest collection of employee experiences in the Middle East, comprising thousands of employees from across the region.
The data assesses employees' experiences with trust, innovation, company values, and leadership. Companies are also evaluated on how well they are creating an inclusive workplace experience.
