In celebration of being recognised by “Great Place to Work” for the second time, Aspire Academy hosted a special Ramadan Suhur “Ghabga” event for its employees. The gathering brought together management, coaches, teaching staff, employees, and media representatives to celebrate this milestone and acknowledge the invaluable contributions of every staff member.
Among those in attendance were Aspire Academy senior management including, Ivan Bravo, Director General; Valter Di Salvo, Director of Football Performance & Science; Ali Sultan Fakhroo, Chief Corporate Services Officer; and Badr Al Hay, Director of Education and Student Affairs. The event was further honoured by the presence of Mr. Abdullah Nasser Al-Nuaimi, Acting CEO of Aspire Zone Foundation and Director General of Aspire Logistics, and Mr. Khalid Ali Al Mawlawi, Acting Director General at Aspetar; reflecting the strong leadership and collaborative spirit that contribute to the Academy’s outstanding workplace culture.
The recognition, by “Great Place to Work”, the global authority on workplace culture, reaffirms Aspire Academy’s commitment to fostering an exceptional work environment. It also reflects the ongoing appreciation of its employees for the Academy’s supportive working culture.
Ivan Bravo expressed his delight at the latest recognition: "This recognition is a reflection of the dedication and commitment each member brings to Aspire Academy every day. During the event, Mr. Khalid Al Hamar, Acting Director of Marketing and Communication, extended his gratitude to those who contributed to making the occasion a success. He acknowledged the leadership's support and the team's dedication, stating: "A special thanks to the leadership of Aspire Zone Foundation and Aspire Academy, as well as to Mr. Ivan Bravo for his continuous support in making such events a success. I would also like to extend my gratitude to the dedicated committee that has worked diligently to plan and organise this event, along with the entire team who put in tireless effort to bring it to life. This award is a result of the valuable feedback from the staff, who participated in the questionnaire and shared their experiences working at Aspire Academy. The employee responses highlight some impressive progress since the Academy’s recognition in 2023. A total of 80.7% of Aspire Academy’s full-time employees responded. When it came to the statement: This is a Great Place to Work, the Academy improved from 88% to 95% positive response.
