Doha, 14 June 2015. Only a few days after winning the UEFA Champions League with FC Barcelona, Spanish footballer Xavi was officially presented by his new club Al Sadd. The 35-year-old is excited about his future at the Qatari club and his role at Aspire Academy.
He is already looking forward to becoming a member of the Aspire Academy family: "Aspire Academy is a magnificent project and I am happy that my family and I are going to be able to work there."
Of course, he is also very excited about starting a new chapter of his successful career as a football player with his new club Al Sadd. “I am looking forward to all of it. On a personal level, a sporting level and on an education level. Al Sadd’s project excites me for the possibility to continue to win titles, the league, the cup and to try to compete well in the Asian Champions League."
