TWO GONE TWO TO GO FOR QATAR IN GCC U-19 CHAMPIONSHIP

Doha, 28 August 2016. Qatar U-19 team has reached the half way stage of the ongoing GCC Football Championship and is still to get off the mark on both scoresheet and points after a second 1-0 loss this time to Oman. The defending AFC U-19 champions are using the GCC tournament to prepare to defend the title they won in Myanmar in 2014 when AFC championship kicks off in Bahrain this October.

The Qatar team now has two matches left before the conclusion of the GCC Championship, against Bahrain on Monday 29 August before playing Saudi Arabia in their last match on Friday, 2nd of September.
