HE Tunisian minister of Youth and Sports and Woman and Family Mr. Sabeur Bouatay, accompanied by HE Mohamed Mondher Dhraief, Ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia to the state of Qatar and Dr. Mouldi Cheikh, Director of Development and Research in the Tunisian Ministry of Youth and Sports and Woman and Family, has visited Aspire Academy and Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine- ASPETAR.
The Tunisian Minister and accompanying delegation were welcomed in the academy VIP entrance by Mr. Ivan Bravo, Director General of Aspire Academy, who, after a short head to head discussion, led the academy guest in a tour around different facilities of the academy and provided detailed explanation on how it works and also the overall vision and mission of Aspire.
At the end of his visit, the Tunisian official exchanged gifts with Mr. Bravo and said to be very impressed by what he saw in Aspire Academy “qualifying it as one of the best academies in the world that combines education and sports under the same roof. He by then praised the role of the academy in developing sports in general and football in particular in Qatar.”
Upon leaving the Academy, Mr. Bouatay and his accompaniers visited Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine- ASPETAR where they received explanations about how it works and what makes it so unique of its kind in the Middle East and the World as it is one of the few sports medicine centers in the world accredited by the FIFA as center of excellence. They were also welcomed by Dr. Khalifa Al- Kuwari , Director General of Aspetar.
