Eupen, 22 April 2020. Professional Belgian football club KAS Eupen - owned by Aspire Zone Foundation (AZF) since 2012 - is expanding its structures by hiring Jordi Condom as Sports Director.The Spaniard will support the association starting with July 1, 2020.
The 50-year-old former midfielder most recently worked as assistant coach of Qatar Stars League-club Al Arabi. He knows the Belgian league very well from his experience as coach of KAS Eupen in the period from 2012 to 2017. Under his sportive direction, KAS Eupen could reach the highest league of Belgium in 2016.
Christoph Henkel, who had held the position of sports director in a double function after the departure of Josep Colomer in 2019, will now be able to concentrate again on his original tasks as General Director. KAS Eupen will thus receive additional strength to take the next step in the Jupiler Pro League.
