Congratulations to Aspire Academy graduate Mutaz Essa Barshim: The 27-year-old high jump World Champion has been awarded the “Best Asian Male Athlete of the Year 2018” by the Asian Athletics Association (AAA) during the 91st AAA Council Meeting in Doha on the occasion of 23rd Asian Athletics Championships Doha 2019 taking place at Khalifa International Stadium from 21 to 24 April 2019.
