25 Dec 2022

Aspire Academy’s student-athletes will return for their second semester of the 2022-23 academic year on 25 December.

It also marks the return of the student-athletes to the academy’s campus following Qatar’s successful hosting of the FIFA World Cup 2022. During the tournament the academy’s facilities were used not only by the Qatar national team but also those of Australia and Ghana.

“I would like to extend my sincere congratulations to all of you on the occasion of the closing the World Cup and the distinguished hosting by our beloved country Qatar,” Aspire Academy’s School Principal Jassim Al-Jaber said. “It has been wonderful times, that we are all proud of, especially the Aspire community, who were engaged in very important details in the event.”

The opening day of the second semester will be an academic day only without any sport’s training sessions, which will begin again on 26 December as the rota returns to normal.
