Aspire Academy Student Athlete Al-Rashidi Claims the Arabs Gold in 110 m Hurdles

Aspire Academy current student athlete in Athletics, Nayef Mubarak Al-Rashidi, shined in gold colors at the 8th Arab Youth Championships in Tunisia, from25 to 28 November 2021, by claiming the gold medal at 110 m hurdles single event in 14.22 s, and another gold medal at the Sprint Medley Relay ( 100m- 200m-300m-400 m) team in a chrono of 1:58.88.

The aspiring young Qatari sprinter has gained some experience from the many training camps with Aspire Academy teams in Turkey and elsewhere and international participations at high level competitions such as the World Athletics U-20 Championships in Nairobi Kenya last summer.

“It was an amazing moment for me to shine in Tunisia. I think this great result comes as an outcome of my previous preparations through training camps and more precisely my participation at the World Athletics U-20 Championships last summer in Nairobi, Kenya. This last achievement will fuel me to look for more similar ones on both the Asian and international level. I would like to thank my coaches and staff at the academy for their support and encouragement,” said the promising talent Al-Rashidi
