Former Liverpool, Barcelona and Argentine football great Javier Mascherano waxed lyrical about Aspire Academy and its work in youth sport development which he called “the best in the world and a reference for the rest of the globe,”. Mascherano who played 147 times for Argentina took time off his duties as part of the FIFA Legends at the 2020 FIFA Club World Cup currently taking place in Qatar, to visit the world-renowned Aspire Academy.
Mascherano a two-time winner of the FIFA Club World Cup went on to say, “The name of Aspire Academy is known throughout the sporting world for excellence in nurturing talented youth into top players. The work carried out here at Aspire has turned this institution into the go to place and reference for how to develop future athletic stars. This well commendable and congratulations to the people of Qatar and Aspire Academy.”
