Aspire Academy has hosted an engaging and dynamic team-building event for Aspire Zone Foundation employees, centred on Qatar’s rich heritage.

The Heritage in Motion: A Fun Day the Qatari Way provided staff members from the AZF family with the opportunity to come together, celebrate, and foster interdepartmental communication and collaboration.

The event, organised by Aspire Academy’s Lead & Learning Development Department, saw Multi-Purpose Hall 1 transformed into a reflection of Qatar’s traditions and way of life, thanks to various displays and recreations.

Chief Corporate Services Officer Ali Sultan Fakhroo welcomed the guests to the gathering, which included Abdullah Nasser Al-Naimi, Acting CEO of Aspire Zone Foundation; Director General of Aspire Academy Ivan Bravo; and Mr. Khalid Al-Mawlawi, Acting Director General of Aspetar.

They were joined by senior management from across AZF, as well as staff members from a wide variety of departments.

The gathering was then treated to some traditional Qatari music, dancing, and singing, reflecting the nation’s proud history as a central hub for the region’s pearl diving and fishing industries.

This was followed by staff being encouraged to form teams to participate in several challenges, including sack races, tug-of-war, and the board game carrom.

Following the award ceremony for the challenges, several staff members won various prizes in a random draw.

The morning concluded with the attendees enjoying a variety of traditional Qatari dishes as they reflected and discussed the day’s activities.
