Doha, 24 April 2019. Aspire Academy hosted its third term meeting for the Academic Year 2018-2019 on Tuesday evening. The meetings are organised to allow parents to interact with Aspire Academy teachers, inquire about their children’s progress and maintain an active handle on their child’s academic and sports-related development.
Aspire Academy’s school principal, Mr. Jassem Al-Jaber, said: “It gives me great pleasure to host our third term meeting for the academic year, as these meetings are important in terms of keeping parents informed and updated on their child’s yearly performance. Communication is a huge part of the education process and we at Aspire Academy believe that teachers and parents must work hand-in-hand to provide the optimal support for our student-athletes to enable them to reach their highest potential and become great ambassadors for Qatar.”
Deputy Director of sports in Aspire Academy, Dr. Hazem Anabtawi, “At Aspire Academy we managed to successfully combine the academic and the sports curriculum for the benefit of our student athletes. We are proud of the impact we have made, especially in the sports sector as our student-athletes managed to earn medals and showcase outstanding performance at their chosen sport as well as strong stellar academic results at top universities.”
One of the parents, Adel Elbagori, said: “I am very happy with the curriculum Aspire Academy has developed and the fact that it focuses on both my child’s physical and academic performance. It feels good to see your child grow in an environment that is safe and enjoyable and that also supports similar morals and values.”
