ALL EYES ARE NOW ON THE SENEGAL GAME

Hamilton, 4 June 2015. On Wednesday, Portugal beat Qatar 4-0 to seal their ticket into the round of 16 at the FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand. Qatar’s coach Felix Sanchez said his young side will learn from their losses against quality sides like Portugal and Colombia.

“We knew before the game about Portugal's potential and hopefully we will learn something from this game,” Sanchez said after his side lost the rain-affected match of Group C at Waikato Stadium.

Now the focus of Qatar’s young team is on the last game of the group stage against Senegal. “After today’s defeat, we are going to try to get a positive result in the last group game in order to keep our chance alive to become one of the best third ranked sides, and still make it to the next round,” Sanchez said.
