During the evening, various directors each gave an overview of the programmes they are responsible for and the functions of their respective departments. The directors then took questions from parents related to the students’ academic life during a panel discussion. Parents had the opportunity to ask teachers questions about their sons in relationship to programmes at the Academy.

In his speech to the gathering Aspire Academy, School Principal Jassim Mohammed Al-Jabir said: “Aspire Academy values the cooperation between parents and the academy and by hosting our first parent orientation session this year we are delighted that parents will have the chance to meet with teachers, coaches and directors to learn about how the students are settling in and adapting to life at Aspire Academy. This is the first of many parent-teacher meetings that we have planned for this year, since we believe strongly in working very closely with parents to support the academic and athletic development of our students. This year we have embarked on some programmes aimed at re-enforcing positive behaviours in our students based on the mantra of three R’s, respect, responsibility and readiness”, said Principal Jassim Mohammed Al-Jabir.
